1) He's left alone for long periods of time without opportunities for interaction with you.
2) His environment is relatively barren, without playmates or toys.
3) He's a puppy or adolescent (under 3 years) and doesn't have other outlets for his energy.
4) He's an active breed of dog who needs a "job" to be happy (Lab, Schnauzer)

What Can You do to Stop Dog Barking?

1) Walk your dog regularily.
2) Take an obedience class with your dog.
3) Make sure your dog has sufficient time with you.
4) Keep your dog inside while you are away.
5) Talk with your neighbors and let thm know you are working on your dog's barking problem.
